Format is:

The word: Arabic/English
The meaning: in English
Example: A common example used in daily life


السلام عليكم ورحمة الله و بركاته / Assalaammu ‘a’laykum wa ra’h’matullahi wa barakaatuhu
Peace be upon you with the Mercy and Blessings of Allah
“Assalammu “a”laykum wa ra”h”matullahi wa barakaatuhu and welcome to my home”

و عليكم السلام و رحمة الله و بركاته / Wa ‘a’laykum salaam wa ra’h’matullahi wa barakaatuhu
and Peace be upon you with the Mercy and Blessings of Allah
“Wa ‘a’laykum salaam wa ra’h’matullahi wa barakaatuhu. JazakAllahu Khayran for inviting me to your house”

سبحان الله / SubhanAllah
Glory be to Allah
“The sunrise today was really beautiful. SubhanAllah, it truly was a beautiful sunrise”

الحمد الله / Alhamdu Lillah
All Praise Belongs to Allah
“How are you? Alhamdullilah, I am in good health”

ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ / Allahu Akbar
Allah is the Greatest
“We survived the flooding, Allahu Akbar!”

إن شاء الله / Insha Allah
If Allah Wills
“I will attempt to study my biology lessons today, inshaAllah”

جزاك اللهُ خيرًا / JazakAllahu Khayran
May Allah Reward you with good
“It was really nice of you to offer me a lift to the Mosque, JazakAllahu Khayran”

أستغفر الله / Astaghfirullah
I beg Allah for Forgiveness
“Astaghfirullah, I should not have gotten angry at the waiter”

ما شاء اللَّه / Masha Allah
As Allah Has Willed
“Masha Allah on passing your exam”

صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم / Sallahu ‘a’layhi wa salam
Blessings of Allah be upon him and his family and peace
“The Prophet Muhammad (Sallahu ‘a’layhi wa salam)”

عليه السلام / ‘A’layhi salaam
Peace be upon him
“The Prophet Musa(‘A’layhi salaam)”

رضي الله عنه / Radhi Allah ‘a’nhu + رضي الله عنها / Radhi Allah ‘a’nhaa + رضي الله عنهم / Radhi Allah ‘a’nhum
May Allah be pleased with him + May Allah be pleased with her + May Allah be pleased with them
“Abu Bakr(Radhi Allah ‘a’nhu) was the first Caliph of Islam. Aa’isha(Radhi Allah ‘a’nhaa) was the wife of the Prophet Muhammad (Sallahu ‘a’layhi wa salam). The companions of the Prophet Muhammad (Sallahu ‘a’layhi wa salam) were collectively known as the Sahaba(Radhi Allah ‘a’nhum)”
